REVIVAL: A Gospel Review

(L-R) Sister Fancy, Whoopsie Daisy, Reverend Mother Diversity, Paladin "lil Randy and Friend Ilena Cramer

The New Westminster community is strong and vibrant and they came out to support REVIVAL: A Gospel Review, a night of entertainment fun with proceeds benefiting Last Door Recovery and EPAMA.  The Sisters were on hand to help sell raffle tickets as well as hand out the prizes.

REVIVAL was organized by Whoopsie Daisy, an amazing community leader who's faith and calling led her to develop this fundraiser, now in it's 3rd year.  There were amazing drag queens Hope Diamond, Princess Desree Knight Niis Miou and Alma Bitches performing some incredible and funny numbers as well as live performances of the gospel nature and pop nature.  The event was an intimate evening that raised $400.  As Whoopsie said "That's funds that these organizations did not have this morning."  So amazing to see so many different facets of this community come out to support each other.

Well done Whoopsie and New Westminster!
