(L-R) Reverend Mother Diversity, Zdravko Cimbaljevic of Rainbow Refugee and Connie Smudge

The Sisters were at XY to help out-and-proud country recording artist, Patrick Masse fundraise for Rainbow Refugee.  The Sisters sold 50/50 raffle tickets at a live concert by Patrick that was hosted by the Unstoppable Connie Smudge.

The Sisters donated $3000 and the Timberline Dance Society donated $2500.  Along with the 50/50 raffle tickets sold as well as sales of Patrick's CDs, the event brought in over $6000 for Rainbow Refugee.

"Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee is a Vancouver based community group that supports people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression (SOGIE) or HIV status."
