Diorama Party

Community Leader Davey Dave, Sister Fancy Pants, Reverend Mother Diversity Rains, Sister Festivus Illuminata

The Sisters attended the Diorama Party at the Junction to help raise funds for Rainbow Refugee.  Tonight showcased the artistic talents of some of our community members.  Each diorama box spoke to the different unique facets that make up our community profile.  The  night was filled with amazing performances both live and lipsynced.  And Sister Festivus started the night off with a live performance that set the tone for the amazing talents that were to follow.  Drag kings and queens all united tonight to raise over $1200 to help our international community escape persecution.

"Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee is a Vancouver based community group that supports people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression (SOGIE) or HIV status."
