Join the Sisters at SlutWalk Vancouver on May 15

In the words of the organizers of the Toronto SlutWalk:

We are tired of being oppressed by slut-shaming; of being judged by our sexuality and feeling unsafe as a result. Being in charge of our sexual lives should not mean that we are opening ourselves to an expectation of violence, regardless if we participate in sex for pleasure or work. No one should equate enjoying sex with attracting sexual assault.

If this quote resonates with you, join the Sisters as we join with the organizers and participants of SlutWalk Vancouver at 1pm on May 15 at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

We walk to banish the quilt society tries to associate with those of us who are in charge of and embrace our sexual lives. And to embrace and spread the joy that comes with liberation and respect.
